Horizon works closely with both in-house and sub-contracted design teams to procure a wide variety of projects in the commercial, residential, health and sports sectors.
Horizon has built a reputation for high quality and value, and has consequently built a client base with which we regularly negotiate project values and procure work under a traditional form of contract. Our high standards of service from inception to completion result in high levels of repeat business.
Under this process, we run an open book contract where all costs are reported on a monthly basis – providing the customer with greater flexibility, more involvement with the project, and the ability to select trades and suppliers if desired. Overall co-ordination and cost control, programming and quality control remain our responsibility.
Horizon operates a small works division which was initially set up to procure the requirements of our clients that hold a property portfolio. It enables us to respond quickly to reactive and scheduled maintenance requirements.
Partnering and Joint Venture Horizon has entered into Partnering Agreements and Joint Venture Schemes with other organisations and actively encourages the development of this procurement procedure.
